Economic mission to Iran 8-11.12.2017

The Polish Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Iranian Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining and Agriculture and the Polish-Iranian Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the Embassy of Poland in Tehran and the Iranian Embassy in Poland, organize another economic mission to Iran (Tehran, Tebriz) from 8 to 11 December. 2017

Why Iran?

Iran has become one of the fastest growing economies in the world after the abolition of economic sanctions. The abolition of sanctions significantly boosted trade between Poland and Iran. Iranian market is 80 million consumers and the huge demand for consumer goods, the country after the sanction period requires new technology, large infrastructure investment, raising the interest of entrepreneurs from all over the world. Polish companies can take advantage of such a chance. “Poland has a very good reputation in Iran,” emphasizes Vahid Tahery, president of the Polish-Iranian Chamber of Commerce. “For the Iranians, Poland is Germany’s second high technology country.”

The Polish Chamber of Commerce has also supported Polish companies in contacts with Iran by organizing economic missions, B2B meetings, participation in fairs and exhibitions. On-the-spot meetings in Iran provide a guarantee of meeting real partners in their natural business environment.

The mission to Tehran and Tebriz will be another opportunity for individual meetings with selected Iranian partners from 8th to 11th December 2017. How do we choose partners for mission participants? The selection of Iranian partners for Polish companies takes place in cooperation with our partners – the Tehran and Tebriz chambers and in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tehran. Based on your Company Profile and interest in cooperation in Iran, Iranian partners are invited and invited.

There are two Economic Forums in Tehran and Tebriz (Eastern Province of Azerbaijan), as well as meetings between Polish and Iranian businessmen. The mission is a continuation of the meetings that were launched during a delegation visit to the Iranian province of East Azerbaijan in February 2017 in Poland.

East Azerbaijan is one of the 31 provinces of Iran, located in the northwestern part of the country, inhabited by more than 3 million people. The province’s economy is mainly the manufacturing industry, including the manufacture of machinery, vehicles, chemicals and petrochemicals, cement, electrical and electronic equipment, household appliances, textiles and leather, handicrafts and pharmaceuticals.

The National Chamber of Commerce provides a content program within the mission, including:

Preparation of Economic Forums in Tehran (9 December) and Tebriz (10 December)
Organization of B2B meetings with potential business partners
organization of meetings with local government institutions; self-government
support and presence of representatives of the NVA during the mission;

The cost of participation in the Mission is 6,980 PLN net + 23% VAT and includes:

flight in economy class Warsaw – Tehran – Warsaw
airport transfers – hotel – airport in tehran
transfers between Tehran and Tebriz, local transfers on site in Iran
travel insurance
a visa to Iran
Preparation of promotional and informational materials for partners from Iran
accompanying program.

Hotel reservation for the whole group will be made by the organizer of the mission, while the hotel fee will be made directly by the participants of the mission (cost of accommodation will be given after the hotel selection and negotiation of rates).
