Dear Sir or Madam,

Bearing in mind the dynamically developing dialogue with India in mining and energy matters and the need to actively promote the Polish offer on this market, we would like to invite you to participate in the Bengal Global Summit (http://www.bengalglobalsummit.com/). This event will take place on January 16-18 January 2018 in Calcutta.

Traditionally, BGS gathers the most important representatives of the mining and energy sector of India and other countries of South Asia. Thus, it creates an excellent opportunity to present companies from your regions and discuss possibilities of cooperation in the mining, machinery and energy industries with partners mainly from the state of West Bengal. It is a highly industrialized region, with mining as a leading industry (the headquarters of Coal India is located in Calcutta).

India and Bangladesh face a serious challenge related to coal economics, energy production and supply, and environmental protection. Both countries are a potentially good partner for the promotion of Polish technological and organizational solutions. Discussions on BGS will focus on this matter. In addition, the Indian side offered assistance in coordinating meetings of Polish companies in Calcutta and organizing additional business meetings with representatives of the state government in the state of Jharkand, where the headquarters of key coal companies and the largest deposits of coking coal in India are located.

We would like to add that Poland has been offered the status of a partner country, which will significantly increase our possibilities of presenting the offer. We also have the opportunity to arrange B2B meetings based on a list of current companies with the support of the Polish Embassy in New Delhi and the Honorary Consulate General on-site.

Minister Marek Magierowski confirmed his participation and initially announced: Minister Grzegorz Tobiszowski and the authorities of the Silesian region, including the Marshal of the Province and the President of the Silesian Agglomeration (the regional agreement is expected to be signed).

We kindly remind you that participants cover participation in the event with their own funds. The price of accommodation on the spot in hotels recommended by the organizers (high standard) is approx. 130 euros per night. The prices of the air connection (Quatar Airways) amount to PLN 3500.

We will be grateful for providing this information to potentially interested entrepreneurs from the region.
